Hampden Estate Pagos is the first official bottling from the partnership between Hampden Estate and Velier of the Gargano family, matured entirely in former Oloroso sherry casks from Andalusia’s most famous winery. Hampden Estate Pagos Pure Single Jamaica Rum is a first edition to collect or try because it is delicious!

“Today Hampden opens a new frontier for all rum lovers. These official bottlings mark a historic moment for the world of spirits, comparable to the launch of Islay’s single malts in the 1980s.
With Hampden Pagos we wanted to create an amazing rum with character, inspired by the best Macallan whiskeys aged in ex-sherry casks.
I personally selected a 500 liter cask ex Sherry Pedro Ximenes Oloroso to combine the crisp flavors of Hampden with the balanced sweetness of Sherry.
Hampden, known among Jamaican rums for producing intensely flavored spirits that are the quintessential rum in Europe and other parts of the world, pairs perfectly with the cherry and cocoa notes of sherry.
It was made only 1200 of this limited series rum. The age of this spirit is unknown. The distillation year of this bottle of rum is unknown. The rum has been aged to perfection and released in a limited edition in 2021
Established in Trelawny in 1753, Hampden Estate is one of Jamaica’s oldest sugarcane processing companies. His products are characterized by the absolute respect for the island’s tradition.
Hampden still only uses copper stills today, so all rums are made using 100% pot still distillation and, as in the best Jamaican tradition, fermentation takes place over a longer period of time with natural yeasts.
This guarantees the development of intense and unique aromas.
The Hampden Estate produces high-quality, typically Jamaican rum and supplies, among other things, rum to Luca Gargano for Habitation Velier.
